Here’s how MicroBanner™ ads work:
- Advertiser purchases MicroBanner™ logo ad
- When the advertiser’s name appears in the text of a publisher’s website, the MicroBanner™ logo is embedded directly into the text of that website using our proprietary algorithm. The algorithm parses the entire InTopic Publisher Network for the advertiser’s name and automatically places MicroBanners™ on those pages.
- When the web user mouses over the MicroBanner™ logo, the advertiser’s full ad appears on the screen. If the user clicks on the ad, he is taken to the advertiser’s landing page. If the user mouses away from the ad, it disappears.
- MicroBanner™ advertisers are charged based on cost-per-thousand impressions (eCPM) for impressions of the logo as well as a cost-per-click (CPC) model for click-throughs on the full ad.
- Publishers receive 80% payouts of all net revenue from clicks and impressions on their websites.
Here’s how Keyword Ads work:
- Advertiser purchases Keyword Ad by selecting a keyword to advertise on and entering an advertisement to display.
- When the advertiser’s keyword appears in the text of a publisher’s website, the keyword appears as a special double-underlined link in the text of that website using our proprietary algorithm. The algorithm parses the entire InTopic Publisher Network for the advertiser’s name and automatically places Keyword Ads on those pages.
- When the web user mouses over the double-underlined keyword, the advertiser’s full ad appears on the screen. If the user clicks on the ad, he is taken to the advertiser’s landing page. If the user mouses away from the ad, it disappears.
- Keyword advertisers are charged based on a cost-per-click (CPC) model.
- Publishers receive 80% payouts of all net revenue from clicks on their websites.
