Affiliate Manager
About the Job
Position Description:
InTopic Media is seeking a seasoned Affiliate Manager to run our team. We are looking for an exceptional and polished individual with a blend of outbound sales and account management experience with a passion for online media who is ready to take the next step and run a sales department. An Affiliate Manager’s primary role is to actively seek out new Publisher/Affiliate relationships with creative salesmanship to further expand our online reach in the CPA/CPC space. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing our Publisher and Affiliate partnerships with a consultative approach. The Affiliate Manager must be independently thinking and able to develop a company initiative.
Responsibilities
• Prospecting online and reaching the decision maker
• Serving as the key point of communication for Affiliates, Publishers, and other related online media channels
• Extract, analyze, and recommend key performance measures from campaigns to grow our ad spends with Affiliates/Publishers
• Campaign oversight with regard to traffic quality and compliance
• Distribute and recommend marketing tools and creative material to Affiliates
You will provide first rate support and knowledge of a fast paced and changing industry. You will foster and grow relationships into long term partnerships. You understand that business on the internet takes place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Outgoing and persistent with follow-ups
• Fluent in the language of CPA, CPM, and CPC marketing
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment
• Microsoft suite of products
• College or University Degree in Commerce, Business, Advertising, Marketing or equivalents appreciated
• 2+ Years in an Affiliate Manager role
• 2+ Years inside/outside sales experience
• 2+ Years in online marketing/advertising experience
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years experience in the online CPA space. You have a demonstrated ability to rapidly build trusting relationships with potential business partners. Your favorite tool for uncovering new relationships is the telephone – you will aggressively contact leads via cold calls and warm calls. You are driven, hungry and focused on discovering the next million dollar deal. You thrive under pressure and work well as a part of a team pursuing a common goal.
Annual Salary – $45,000 – 60,000 commensurate with experience.
